Our mission is to engineer and deliver next-generation modular housing that offers strength, safety, and comfort in the face of climate extremes. Leveraging advanced composite materials and the inherent structural advantages of dome architecture, DreamDome provides lightweight, prefabricated housing kits that are fast to assemble, highly efficient, and adaptable to diverse environments.

Chris Brown – CEO & Co-Founder, DomeShells Australia Pty Ltd
Chris Brown is the inventor and visionary behind the DreamDome system. As a licensed builder, experienced building designer, and project manager, Chris has led a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial, and civil construction projects across Australia.
With a career spanning decades in innovative construction, Chris also served as joint Chief Investigator for seven years on two Australian Research Council (ARC) research projects in partnership with Queensland University of Technology (QUT). These projects focused on advanced construction technologies, including glass fibre reinforced concrete (GRC) and cement-based sandwich panel systems—technologies that now underpin the DreamDome approach.

Chris is driven by the urgent need for adaptable, sustainable housing. With increasing natural disasters, mass displacement, and growing urban pressures, he believes DreamDome is a timely and transformative solution.
